Family Art Sessions

Families are made of stories, colors, textures, and layers — just like paintings. Let me help you create a family painting you’ll be proud to hang on the wall. Playful, relaxed, and surprisingly polished, these sessions are about turning family time into a tangible keepsake you’ll love.

One big canvas. Everyone joins in — yes, even the one who insists “I’m not artistic”. Especially them. Heather will guide you every step of the way, so what starts as “this could be a disaster” turns into “we’re basically the next Picasso family” — all in about an hour.

You bring the family, Heather will bring everything else: painting supplies, a custom color palette, a 30″x48″ canvas, and my guidance. Your finished canvas will be sealed with a protective, archival coating and delivered right to your door.

What to Expect

• Before our scheduled session, Heather will work with you on a color palette that you love and gather more important details. 
• In the event of inclement weather we reschedule to a time that is convenient for you and your group. 
• Dress to mess! In this process, we will be using acrylic paint. Heather will provide body smocks, shoe covers and shower caps, it’s also important to wear clothes that you are ok to throw out after the painting session. 
• During our hour together we will explore initial mark-making, pouring, and painting.
• Heather will take your family’s masterpiece home to her studio for varnishing and deliver to you.
